Howard Headlee
President

Howard came to the UBA as President in April 1997.  With his talent, political savvy, and energy the Association has truly become a new-age organization, relentlessly creating innovative programs to serve our industry.  Before joining UBA, Howard served six years as Vice President of the Utah Taxpayers Association where he was responsible for the Association's legislative activities, analysis of state tax policy, and Association marketing and strategic planning.  Howard received his Bachelor of Science from the Brigham Young University School of Accountancy and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah.

Wendy Holloway
Senior Vice President

Wendy has worked with the UBA since 1985.  For the first 15 years she held the position of Executive Director of the former American Institute of Banking (AIB).  In 1999 when AIB was dissolved, she became Vice President of the UBA Education Division.  In late 2001 she assumed the responsibility of Vice President of the UBA.  Wendy brings a wide variety of talents to the association, including a strong background in management, banking, training and human resource management.  Prior to working for AIB, she worked for First Security Bank for 12 years where she started as a teller and moved up through the ranks as an operations officers, training director and human resource officer.  Wendy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the University of Utah.


Dorene Cheney
Education Director

Dorene has worked with the UBA since 1988.  For the majority of her time with the UBA she has managed the student services for the AIB and the UBA Education Division.  In January of 2002, she assumed the responsibility of Education Director for the Association.  She is responsible for developing educational programs and arranging seminars, conferences and classes throughout the state.  She attended Rick's College in business administration.

Lindsay Scott
Member Services Director

Lindsay has been with the Utah Bankers Association since May 2007. As Member Services Director she manages the operational aspects of the office and provides support to the many products and services that we offer. She is responsible for vendor relationships, including Associate Members. Lindsay also provides staff support to the Consumer Education/Financial Literacy Committee.
